Fantasy has been recognized in the Gartner® report Cutting-Edge Providers to Watch in Intelligent Products and Services Innovation Services, published September 16, 2026. This is Fantasy's first inclusion in Gartner research.

The work behind the inclusion
The way we’d describe that work is helping companies move from digital products that behave the same for everyone to experiences that understand who is using them and what they are trying to do, and then keeping those experiences improving after they launch.
Three recent projects we’ve worked on show what that looks like:
BNY wanted its internal AI platform, Eliza, to do more for the employees who serve its customers, so we reimagined it as an agentic experience built around whatever task the employee has in front of them. We also delivered the AI-native design system that lets BNY's own teams keep building on it.
At The Home Depot, the problem was search. A customer types a few words, and the store needs to work out what project they are in the middle of. We designed and built the search that does exactly this, generating an estimated $20 million in new revenue for the brand in its first year.
Microsoft and Salesforce each needed a global design system that their own teams could extend and maintain long after we left. Those systems are now the foundation both companies add new features to as AI moves into more of the product.
Beyond designing and launching work for our partners, Fantasy builds proprietary tools to solve problems for and accelerate our own team. Synthetic Humans lets a team test a concept against configurable AI-powered personas before it ever goes in front of real people. Fantasy Canvas, a node-based, model agnostic design platform, is how we get from an idea to a working product faster than we could a year ago.

About the Report
Smaller AI innovators are disrupting the IPSIS market by moving beyond traditional design thinking and “code-only” software engineering. They focus on augmenting personalized, human engagement, and bridging digital and physical product experiences.
The way we describe the category is this. Intelligent products are digital products that adapt to the person using them and the task they are trying to get done, instead of behaving the same way for everyone. Intelligent services are the work it takes to get a company there and keep it there, which covers strategy, design, engineering, and the changes to how a team works so it can produce this way. In our practice that means agentic experiences, generative interfaces, AI-native design systems, and organizational advisory for AI-enabled production.
It is the first time Fantasy's work has appeared in Gartner research. The intelligent systems work we have been doing for clients like BNY and The Home Depot is now documented in independent research that technology and services companies use when they evaluate partners. Gartner selected the providers it profiled, and Fantasy reviewed its own profile for factual accuracy before publication. Fantasy did not pay for inclusion.
